Explore San Nicolas

Aruba's Art and Cultural Hub

Once known as Aruba’s refinery town, San Nicolas has evolved into the island’s creative and cultural heart. Inspired by the annual Aruba Art Fair, the town has grown into a vibrant open-air gallery where local and international artists continue adding colorful murals and fresh inspiration to its streets. Today, galleries, family-owned restaurants, live music, and welcoming cafés invite visitors to discover a different side of Aruba. Whether you’re browsing handcrafted artwork, enjoying authentic island flavors, or simply wandering the promenade, San Nicolas has a wonderful way of rewarding curiosity. It’s a place that invites you to slow down, look a little closer, and explore Aruba beyond the beaches.

As we celebrate Kukoo Kunuku’s 30th anniversary, it felt like the perfect time to introduce a new experience that celebrates another side of Aruba. For nearly three decades, we’ve welcomed visitors with music, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Now we’re excited to introduce guests to the art, culture, food, music, and wonderful people that make San Nicolas so special.
